- Reconnect the Caliper: Carefully compress the caliper piston using a caliper tool, then reinstall the caliper over the new pads and rotor. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer’s specifications using a torque wrench.
- Reinstall Wheels and Lower Vehicle: Once everything is securely in place, put the wheels back on and hand-tighten the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle back to the ground and use the torque wrench to properly tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.
